Perhaps a stupid question...

Hi guys, hope you're enjoying the end of exams!  (They are still to come for me...)

Just a quick question.  Please humour the poor exchange student who's out of touch with all things Carleton!

Basically, I would like to apply to be a TA next year (it'll be my fourth).  I'm looking at History, partly because I'm assuming the competition for Hums TA-ships is fierce!  I'm sure there are some present/past TAs in this community, so... is it possible to apply when you've been abroad the previous year?  If so, when do the applications start, and where do I find information about applying?  Any other info would be fabulous.  Okay, so maybe that was more than one question.  I'm pretty sure it's insanely early for this, but I have a rather... insistent mother who bugs me about it every time I talk to her, so here I am, bothering you all!

Thanks!  Miss you guys!  I made a Tao Te Ching reference the other day, and nobody got it... sigh.

E-mail Rajaee about it. TA positions are handed out based on GPA. Assuming you've been doing well in the College you should be fine (in my 4th year two 3rd years got TA positions).
